Went swimming yesterday.  Floating aimlessly back and forth across the water for over an hour.  Peace.  Weightlessness.  Sound drowned out by the water.  Music blaring over the PA turns to simple vibration, amplitude halved.  Nothing but the rush of water lapping at the sides of the pool and the occasional creak of metal, aged and comfortingly familiar, like the sighs of an old square rigger moored near the shore.
Then I got out.  I've never felt so heavy.

I was the dove on Noah's Ark.  Two decades of landlocked living are not enough to erase the memory of a thousand years at sea.

Doctor Who will be back in 2010, but in the mean time, we've got the November special (which I'm betting is going to be on November the Fifth) and a Christmas special to look forward to. Oh, and of course, they've already broadcast the last Christmas special (The Next Doctor) and the Easter special (Planet of the Dead).
Good luck on your final!
